Yes they are. By this way you can have a complete guarantee of the system and you can reduce the installation costs.

What materiale is the sleeve made of?
The sleeve is made of Iron Steel AISI 316.

Does the varnishing resist even if the actuator works in environments with presence of the “Esso” solvent (Solvesso) in the air?
Yes it is, but the maximum concentration in the air of these components is 10%.

Is possible to repair an explosion proof actuator?
No, it isn't. You would loose the guarantee

For the fuse sizing, you have to know how many actuators you must protect

No, they needn't. Our components are maintenance free.

Is possible to deliver the Actuator Unit without the EEx e junction box?
Yes, it is. The Atex certificate NEMKO 03ATEX1242 is only for the actuator including cables mounted in glands and flexible steel conduits. The EEx e terminal box is not included in this certificate

Is possible to use Edelweiss actuators in environments with Gas and Dust presence in the atmosphere?
Yes it is. Our actuators can be used in environments of the Explosion Group IIC, the maximum available. It's fit for all hazardous areas except mines.

Is the PE connection in your actuators in order to avoid static electricity?
Yes it is. Please note that all electrical equipment must be linked together and earthed at one point

Yes it does, but the maximum concentration of these components in the air doesn't have to exceed the 10%

What do you exactly mean by “Avoid excessive vibrations” in data info?
It means to not fasten the box on parts with constant vibrations, to avoid possible damage to the electrical connections (like loosened screws etc.)
